The cyclometer I used was a Sigma Targa. It's available at some bicycle shops, although I bought mine through ebay.
I choose the Targa because it had a metal case and is waterproof. It's the heavy-duty model for mountain biking. It registers up to 183mph (don't remember kpm) and comes with a heavier sensor cable.
Installed, it looks like it fits the Savage.
